I bought these lights to use as DRLs on my bikes and they do a good job. I charged them when I got them and was disappointed that the front light only lasted 3 hours. After a second charge it took 4:50 and was still running at the end of the ride, so don't drop it if the same thing happens to you. These lanterns feel well made and durable, not flimsy. The only downside is that the rubber bands are tight on 31.8 handlebars and over 31.00mm seatposts. They also don't work well with aero seatposts as they tend to move sideways on rough roads. That being said, at a fantastic price you can pay a lot more just for a backlight with a quarter the performance of these, I did.
