First of all I love this product. It looks nice when assembled and serves its purpose. What I don't like is the price as the components are so cheap. When installing the seat, the chipboard split while installing the two large screws that hold the brace under the board. So probably you should either not screw them down (to the end) or the board is just cheap junk. It really shouldn't cost more than $75 and I think even that is generous. Happy with the purchase but have yet to find a way to repair or cover the exposed screws that damaged the bench.
