The product I received had the correct width measurement but was about half an inch compared to the actual length shorter space in the 5500 - 2. The gap at the top is huge. This means that a very significant portion of the airflow will follow the path of least resistance and bypass the filter instead of going through it, defeating the entire purpose. I agree that OEM replacements are clearly overpriced. The problem with these fake factories is that even if some batches are delivered on time, no care or attention is paid to quality or consistency. This means you are betting on whether the item you will receive will be physically similar to one that someone else has reviewed positively. I bought it based on the positive reviews. Mistake.
