Review on 🚴 Panaracer GravelKing Folding Tire: Versatile Black with Black Sidewall - A Superior Choice for Adventurous Riders by John Bailey

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Generally good value for money

Paid about $31 a piece in the first half of 2021. For this price I think it's a bargain. Decent rolling resistance, good road feel, excellent puncture resistance, solid weight, good looks. with brown or rubber coating, unique universal profile. What else can I say?! They are usually cheaper than the Pasela and drive a lot better. I find they ride well for the price and offer reasonably good road feedback. These are not high end tires so don't expect them to ride. But for the price they tick a lot in my experience. Even if they have an excellent profile, they are by no means gravel tires. Used a lot on limestone rubble with no problems, but it's not on rougher terrain where a profile is required. On the other hand, the profile does not affect driving on paved surfaces. Buy them as prices sometimes fluctuate. I bought them for only $23 each. I have these tires on 3 bikes in my stable and they always count towards a new build. I have more expensive tires that roll faster, are lighter and feel better. However, they are sometimes more than twice as expensive and are regularly repaired. These are excellent mid-range performers.
