These are my second stockings this year and love making them. Eventually all five of my grandchildren will have one, and God willing, so will their spouses and great-grandchildren. However, this is not for those in a hurry. It goes on for hours and hours and this one isn't as elaborate as some of them. This is painstaking precision work. I found the instructions a bit misleading and common sense told me I couldn't sew this piece until it was in place, but all the instructions were good. Sometimes it was easier for me to do a few different things, but most of the time it's very important to follow the steps carefully,
