Works well ideal for rental car trips
Easy to use. I would recommend this as a travel solution for putting gear on the roof of a rental car. Note that the weight of whatever you hang there will be absorbed by the roof (the pads keep it soft and spread) but if it has a thin roof it will sag (and immediately lift in my experience, when you remove the weight ) . The straps are strong and the mechanism is solid and holds up well.
- Caution do not attempt to tie your kayak through the padded roof rack loops, this loop is for SKI/Snowboard/Skateboard¡£ Here is the correct way to securely tie your kayak / canoes/SUP through the car window, place them in the car. Tips: Drive on highways with speed limits. A great choice for those who love the great outdoors
