These shapes work great! I made sets to give to my preschoolers for Christmas. The crayons turned out so cute! One thing that worked well for me was to use two colored pencils in the long (pencil) part of each shape and melt them for 15 minutes. Then I put the third crayon in and let it melt along with the rest for another 10 minutes. This method saved me from breaking the crayons into small pieces along the thin part of the shape. I used small pieces to melt into the head of each shape. Now I'm thinking about doing it for the pediatric department of our local hospital. It was so easy and fun!
