Had to replace the front wheel bearing due to a speed sensor failure on the old 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix. It was a direct replacement and did the job instead of having the dealer shop do it - when I had to replace another one, the shop charged $400 for the bearing/wiring harness and $300 for the labor. Symptoms of a faulty sensor: - ABS warning light is on all the time - Brake warning light is on all the time - Tire pressure light is on - When you first start the fault, you may feel the ABS brake activation even when you are traveling at 1km/h drive normal dry conditions for no reason to activate it. - with ABS light on constantly, took the car to Pep Boys for a free ODB measurement to determine which bearing was the problem. We also recommend ordering the correct (left or right) wiring harness that connects directly to the bearing speed sensor as this tends to become brittle. You can test the wiring harness for resistance before determining if it's a sensor or not (see YouTube video on this topic). Ordered 4 screws just in case.
