The bottom line is that AC Delco will treat you right.

Installed this wheel bearing in my ex girlfriend's Impala when we first met and it has outlasted our relationship! No lying, deceitful, self-centered narcissist, this camp of AC Delco should serve you well for years to come. unlike my ex. After putting in all that hard work and spending your precious time installing a bearing, you need a part that is so vital to your car's relationship with the road that it would be a shame not to would immediately self-destruct... in front of you. because you…

Not Made in the USA. Bad stock.

. I ordered an OEM ACDelco replacement as I didn't want a custom aftermarket replacement bushing just to save $20. What I received: • A plain brown box with a small ACDelco sticker that says 'Made in Korea'. • Hub unit, packed loose, lightly greased. There is no plastic bag. The wheel bolts gnawed through the cardboard, the cardboard dust stuck to the grease and coated the hub. • The bearing was difficult to turn. There was sand, too, and I could detect at least two hard "clicks" when turning…

Lasted less than a year

Item arrived well packaged and looked good quality. The hub was installed correctly and worked fine for some time. After about 8-9 months and maybe 10,000 miles (could have been sooner, I don't always drive) the hub started making a whining/buzzing noise at about 15 mph. At first I couldn't tell which hub was whining, so I suspected other (original on the car) hubs. When I took the time to really look at it and track it down to this "new" hub, the warranty had expired a few days later. I…

What happened to the quality of AC Delco?

I bought a Delco AC bearing hub assembly for installation in my Cadillac DTS and paid a high price for it. Nice car, so why not go for the best for parts, right? This camp lasted 2 months. ONLY 2 MONTHS! I wish I could get a refund but who wants to spend 2 hours on the phone jumping from Amazon extension to Amazon extension? FYI: I'm a process engineer with 40 years of experience. I have built 4 complete cars and service my cars myself. Long story short I have the right tools and know how to…

Pros

Works great as a factory replacement - 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix

Had to replace the front wheel bearing due to a speed sensor failure on the old 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix. It was a direct replacement and did the job instead of having the dealer shop do it - when I had to replace another one, the shop charged $400 for the bearing/wiring harness and $300 for the labor. Symptoms of a faulty sensor: - ABS warning light is on all the time - Brake warning light is on all the time - Tire pressure light is on - When you first start the fault, you may feel the ABS…

  • Seems to be everything for now

  • There are other interesting options.

A wheel bolt failed immediately, otherwise everything is fine.

Used to replace a failed driver side wheel hub on a 2010 Impala LT. Removing the old hub was more difficult than installing the new one (Thanks Michigan Road Salt and Electroplating!). There was a 'Made in USA' sticker on the box of the hub that I received. Appears to be of good quality and conforms to OEM specs. The installation was top notch. However, when the wheel was reinstalled, one of the wheel bolts broke off, hence a star deduction. Very odd - the flare nut was screwed on by hand and…

It also did NOT look like it was installed

I wish I could give this a zero or negative! 3 days left on Delco's original AC warranty and it failed (purchased June 2016). Now wait for the second AC Delco (on the left) to do the same! June 2016: The box was American made by the way and looked like the photo with green rivets, blue sensor protection cap, well packaged for shipping and fully wrapped in plastic. June 2017: Just ordered and received a bearing which was supposed to be a Revain AC Delco. Unlike the first two I bought, this one…
