Review on ACDelco GM Original Equipment FW293 Front πŸ”§ Wheel Hub and Bearing Assembly incorporating Wheel Speed Sensor by Mac Sterling

Revainrating 1 out of 5

It also did NOT look like it was installed

I wish I could give this a zero or negative! 3 days left on Delco's original AC warranty and it failed (purchased June 2016). Now wait for the second AC Delco (on the left) to do the same! June 2016: The box was American made by the way and looked like the photo with green rivets, blue sensor protection cap, well packaged for shipping and fully wrapped in plastic. June 2017: Just ordered and received a bearing which was supposed to be a Revain AC Delco. Unlike the first two I bought, this one came in the same AC Delco box, but that's about all there is to say! In the box. There was no plastic foil, the plastic protection of the sensor was broken and to top it all off, the bearing was clearly defective when turned by hand (not installed on the car) even before installation. When I turned it by hand in any direction, it felt rough and gritty. Fun! It also didn't look like it was installed. Now garbage like everything else! I've looked at Moog and Timken in the past, and anecdotal reviews also point to very high bounce rates. So who actually makes the camp that lasts. ? And that at an almost cheap price? Incidentally, all bolts were properly preloaded and torqued to specification, and no impact wrenches were used in reassembly. Really tired of this shit with bearings!

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Vulgarity
