This spoon is about 5 1/2 inches long and about 2.5 cm shorter than a regular plastic spoon. And of course not that strong (I used to buy a harder transparent one). I wouldn't buy this spoon for eating, but for "small jobs". For example, I bought these in addition to stirrers for use on a coffee/hot chocolate mixer wagon. These are decent little spoons and I think they will be good for this purpose. The edges don't feel sharp as mentioned in some other spoon reviews (for other spoons).
