I got a hard case back when I first got my Macbook in 2013 (give or take a year) and it worked great but had the WORST edge where you rest your wrists. The edge was sharp and dug into my wrists, was incredibly comfortable, but I was more interested in protecting my stupidly expensive laptop than how uncomfortable the case was. Fast forward to 2022 and I replaced the old and broken case with this new one. To my EXTREME happiness, I discovered this case it made so much better than my last one. There is no edge digging uncomfortably into my wrists and the quality seems excellent! I am very happy.One note: If you're intent is to have an amazing keyboard cover with the case, you'll want to look elsewhere. I got the orange case (it is BRIGHT) and the black keys bleed through the orange of the keyboard color. It's not attractive at all.
