Great monitor for the price

I bought this monitor for my first computer after years of using a 15 inch laptop and it's great. I use it to watch a lot of movies, Blu-ray, DVD as well as streaming and video games. The screen is large and gives you plenty of space to work. It's bright, sharp and clear. Movies and video games look really great. It's pretty good at removing glare thanks to the matte screen. The monitor has many great features like high dynamic contrast ratio and low response time, but to really understand if this monitor is right for you, you have to actually see it. I looked at a lot of monitors at this price point, went out and looked at them and settled on this one. It's a really great monitor for the price and I'm very happy with it. In terms of design, it is elegant, glossy black and slim. The only issue I see with the design is that the monitor shakes when you press the bottom right buttons. You can shake it by shaking your desk, but it doesn't shake during normal everyday computer use. However, there are a few issues with the monitor. I've noticed a slight glow at the top of dark scenes in some movies. It's not that bad, just enough to be noticed. There are also halos in which certain objects, such as Objects such as the mouse pointer or window frames leave a small white trail when they move when contrasting with certain colors. Ghosts don't bother me much, and you can't even see them unless you're looking for them. And I'm really critical of these things. Ghosting doesn't seem to affect movies or video games and I've only noticed it in the situations described above. These will likely be different for each monitor, so you'll need to check your own to see if it's enough to bother you. The image on the monitor also looked rather blurry out of the box, but after calibrating and adjusting the color management profile in Windows, it's really great.
