It's TN, so don't expect color reproduction. It's still not a bad deal. Just not one to write home about. I got it because I wanted an ultra-wide secondary monitor to match my primary gaming monitor, the ASUS IPS 280Hz 1080p model. It's not ultra-wide, but the aesthetics are nearly identical. Works for what I need. It has a good frame rate and refresh rate, good customization, and good screen quality. The base feels a little small, it works, but I constantly have the feeling that it will fall off at the slightest impact. And the location of the HDMI/DP is pretty bad, it's in a closet so any cable you try to connect will be pinched or at a sharp angle to the connector.

This monitor isn't bad per se, its viewing angles are insane for a TN panel. On the other hand, picture quality and color/contrast with brightness are not very good. Freesync worked fine on my rx580, no tearing issues in testing and games I played. However, gsync compatibility on my 1660 is a different story. I had some issues but I was, however the only choice or opinion I had was that only the VEGA input needed to be switched to VEGA input to access the menus. I don't like this as I have to get DVI which I was lucky and had on hand to go into the menu and get in and then toggle it from there. These are very similar monitors. The only difference I noticed is that the no trace feature actually works on this monitor, while it doesn't work on the VE monitor, resulting in horrible ghosting.
