Doesn't look durable but looks great

I removed my previous review entirely because I was wrong and it wasn't helpful. Here's my attempt at making something more useful: I bought two of these monitors a few years ago, but they both died recently, so I bought two more because I like them despite their short lifespans (I'll explain more in a moment). I've had issues with new monitors not connecting to HDMI, and after mistakenly assuming HDMI doesn't work on either, I left a bad review (which has now been replaced with this one). Long story short, I don't understand that the button next to the power supply was a port switch. I assume the first pair I got were already set to HDMI so I never had or had to change a connector on them but that was a long time ago and I just forgot how they work. Either way, HDMI works and I'm very glad I was wrong. User errors aside, the only reason I'm giving it 1 star out of 5 is because the backlight on the first two of these monitors died out after about 2-3 years of use. Of course, I had them on almost 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and I did a lot of computer work during those years, so they were used extensively. Everyone is about to die as both my monitors failed almost at the same time, same) I would say the price is still pretty decent because the picture quality is very good compared to other monitors I've had. and I'm used to coloring with my graphics work, so with that in mind I gave them another chance for my dual monitor setup.
