Not suitable for gsync - suitable for freesync

This monitor isn't bad per se, its viewing angles are insane for a TN panel. On the other hand, picture quality and color/contrast with brightness are not very good. Freesync worked fine on my rx580, no tearing issues in testing and games I played. However, gsync compatibility on my 1660 is a different story. With the monitor at 75Hz I noticed the gameplay wasn't as smooth as on the rx580, 60fps didn't feel like 60 but was smooth enough that it couldn't be viewed as a slideshow. Adjusting the monitor to 60/59 Hz went smoothly, but there were hiccups and hiccups here and there. This makes the monitor unusable for those looking for a small cheap gsync compatible monitor (unofficial). I've heard it works for some, but due to the fact that it's not officially supported, expect problems. Again the monitor worked fine on my rx580 and for a TN panel it's very good but I can't deal with gsync and brightness/contrast issues. Monitor is included. For the price I really can't complain.

Pros
  • 75 Hertz
Cons
  • Bad viewing angles
