After playing the new Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 on this monitor all weekend, I noticed a difference in my gaming experience. I know some of this has to do with mental confidence, but I'm pretty sure a lot of it is down to the monitor's slow response time compared to my TV. I switched from my 47 inch Vizio TV which I tested at www.displaylag.com/ and it had a 43ms response time. In the past I often felt that when I faced an enemy I would either shoot him first or I would even see him wondering how I died and how he reacted so quickly. this problem keeps happening, so i decided to buy a monitor. So now when I die in a game, it's not an "I haven't even seen this guy" question. In terms of size, I have one monitor at the moment. placed on a media stand in front of my 47 inch TV because I didn't want to run cables and mounted it on my desk when I wasn't even sure I would like it. Now I sit 3-4 feet away from him so size doesn't matter. That's another reason the TV was an issue, because I'm sitting so close that my eyes would have to scan far and wide to see the tiniest movement on the screen. It's small enough that I can put it on my desk with my 27-inch iMac without any space problems. My only problem is finding a new seat. I had no problems with the color. The blacks weren't true blacks unless you adjusted the brightness to a very low level. But that wasn't a problem for me. The monitor doesn't have speakers, but it does have an audio jack. I've been using the Turtle Beach Stealth 500x, which are completely wireless and get game and chat sound from the Xbox One, so the lack of sound on the monitor itself wasn't an issue.
