After unplugging the USB cable for the SSD, SMART records an unexpected power failure; A mechanical squeak can be heard from the hard drive. No other case I have has this problem. Stay away from this product.* The case is metal, except for the side of the cover with the USB-C port and the light, which is a plastic piece.* The rubber case is thick and looks premium. The rubber cover has two brackets that fold into each other.* The inner drive is a blue WD WDS200T2B0A SSD* The bezel holding the SSD with 4 screws is plastic and is a one piece on the side of the cover.* USB-C -Control chip - ASM235CM.* Two cables included, 30 cm long.
