Not waterproof

I bought this to patch a small hole in a pair of 88% nylon pants hoping the patch would hold up in the wash as the description says it's waterproof. After applying I waited 12 hours and put it under the water hatch. NO! The corners of the patch immediately began to curl! Not worth it unless you plan on washing the item and even then I'm not sure how long it will last.
