Review on Clover Mini Swivel πŸ€ Stand: Enhance Your Point-of-Sale Experience by Corey Moulton

1) I really want the power cord to go away.

It works fine but there are a few tweaks that I think are needed. 1) I really want the power cord to go through the middle (into a hole I can drill in my rack). Customers keep pulling the power cord thinking there's a pen at the end. Try as I might, I never found a good way to hide the cable and leave just enough slack to rotate the terminal. Now that I think about it, I even sent a modified power cord, designed to run down rather than at right angles, and had room to route under the stand (between the stand and the stand). , with instructions to leave enough space, I think the block can still rotate and that will work fine. 2) It wobbles (where it spins), looks like something that can be pulled up a bit. 3) It "clicks" at 0 and 180 degrees, which is nice (and there's less wobble in those places), but my terminal can't be installed in a location where it's directly between the cashier and the customer. The best I could do was set it up to snap for either the cashier or the customer. It would be nice if there were multiple clicks when rotating, and not just those two. Maybe every 30 or 45 degrees. But if you imagine a cashier and a customer facing each other with this device about a foot away, you can see why just 0 and 180 doesn't work very well. Overall I like it and I know Clover is a new company. Hopefully some of these things will improve as it gets more popular. No matter what happens, at least I don't have to worry about him falling over.

Pros
