32GB, 2 x 16GB 3200MHz (with 2933MHz) RAM fits easily in my HP gaming laptop, upgraded from 2 x 8GB and the difference was very noticeable. Actions like switching between applications are smoother, even the mouse pointer on the monitor is smoother. I can have multiple Chrome tabs open while watching Twitch streams and I can play games like Dead By Daylight at the same time and everything will work smoothly. My graphics card on the laptop is an Nvidia 1660 Ti with 6GB of VRAM, so this extra relief to the CPU allows the graphics card to run smooth as butter, while RAM usage used to get sluggish, peaking at around 15GB and felt like a very taxing performance VAT. Especially when streaming software is open at the same time. I bet most installs these days require close to 32GB of RAM (my recommendation), at least for multitasking. I wish you success. HAVE FUN!
