I ordered this humidistat after buying and returning a cheaper one that didn't work. This particular humidistat worked flawlessly. Contrary to other poster comments, the plug worked perfectly. This is a multifunctional plug so you'll have to figure out how to plug in a standard US three prong plug, but once you do that it will accept the plug with no problem. The hygrostat will show about 12 points, but once you set it, it will cycle the dehumidifier off and on accordingly. I set it to turn on at 65 when reading and turn off at 60, which is 53% and 48% real-world relative humidity, respectively. I tested it on another hygrometer that I knew was accurate for the dial setting. I don't know anything about the durability yet, but after the initial setup it has been working reliably for a few weeks.
