My 30 year old multimeter (from Radio Shack) finally died and I was in the market for a new meter. I spent quite a bit of time researching options and finally settled on this one (wish Fluke could, but can't justify the price). I've been using the multimeter on various projects for a few weeks and can now share my first impressions. The overall quality is decent enough. The kit includes a multimeter, test leads, and a carrying case. The counter feels solid and the select wheel doesn't feel flimsy (that would have been my first issue). The test leads are strong (not flimsy and flimsy like some I've seen), a decent length, and fit snugly into the meter's jacks. The display is easy to read and the autorange function is fast. I've used the meter to test DC Voltage, AC Voltage, Resistance and Continuity, and AC Current. In all cases the readings were correct.
