Absolutely perfect. I bought these to use with FLIRC so I can program my universal remote to control my Revain Fire TV which does not support infrared. FLIRC uses infrared and converts it into keyboard control, making Fire TV think you have a keyboard connected. Because the USB port is on the back, this six-inch cable allows me to mount FLIRC on my Fire TV. Instead of. Because it's such a small cable, I put a tiny piece of double-sided tape on it so I could attach it to the Fire TV, otherwise the tension on the cable caused it to lift a little, purely cosmetically. If you just want to move your USB plug a few inches, this is a great product and incredibly affordable. I bought a few extras to take my gear with me when I travel for work. I often need to install things via USB, and sometimes my flash drive is thick enough to hit a nearby cable on the back of a client-server. It is also useful to alleviate this problem.
