
Like most guides with these foreign devices they suck but the device is pretty intuitive and easy to hook up. I found that all of the answers to the above questions were wrong. Just remember to connect the battery to the controller first so it can detect the voltage. I am using 2 36 volt solar panels connected in parallel which will produce 18 amps in bright sunlight. I also use two 12 volt batteries connected in series to get 24 volts. I connected the batteries first and the little battery icon appeared on the display and the controller read 25.6 volts. Then I connected my solar panel and the little solar panel icon lit up. The system worked perfectly.
