Therefore I received this product free of charge for review which does not affect my opinion of the product other than that I did not pay for it. --- The product consists of 3 parts: 1. A CD player bracket, which is essentially a small extension that you insert into the CD player and turn the knob to unfold and tighten. There is a socket ball on the back.3. A vent mount that has a great design as it is tightened with what appear to be hard plastic and metal nuts and bolts. The clamp on the ventilation grille is closed by turning the plastic wing nut. I tested it and it worked fine. It also has a ball on the back for the outlet. You attach 2 or 3 to your car and then install the phone mount. . I found this product to be unique in the way it locks into place because it actually uses a mechanical rotary fastener solution instead of a spring-loaded one. The CD player insert works like this: it goes about 1 inch into the CD player slot, then twist the knob to expand the expander to tighten the bracket. Problem. * The bottom bracket has a hole for the charging cable, so you can easily charge it while using the mount. * It's a little more flexible than those precision tools. For example, I have a spot on the dash where the fairing and body meet, and that's where I could add a CD player expander as another option. All in all, this is a pretty solid device. I will add this review if it breaks or something but my first impression is that it is a pretty well made product and I would buy it.
