I've been wearing a pair of spikeless golf shoes which I like for the comfort, but I wanted to try a pair of soft spikes to see if I could get more stability. With these shoes I have that and much more. I had pain in my left Achilles tendon during and after playing golf. These shoes were extremely comfortable and at least during my first lap I didn't feel any pain. And as I hoped, I felt a strong connection with the earth. I understand sacrificing waterproofing with a cloth upper, but as seldom when playing in conditions where this can be an issue, I'm happy to compromise in favor of lightness and comfort. I am very happy with the purchase and feel I got a lot of value.
