Great sewing machine. To be honest it's so compact and gets the job done. Sure, it's not a heavy machine, but if you need to sew quickly or do light work, it's perfect. The only downside I see when you need a big machine is when you need to measure the width of a seam or when you need to sew shapes like stars, clouds, etc. This can be difficult because the machine controls are not super slow. This means that using a foot pedal or hand button is still quite fast, so your control won't be as precise. but if you need basic sewing, that's fine. Update: One more note. It doesn't have reverse stitch function to fix your stitch. So you have to lift the presser foot and the back seam yourself.
