This is definitely not what I would call a high quality set, but if you're just looking for a basic set of paddles and balls, this isn't a terrible value for the price.You can see in my pix that the paddle quality is not great - very rough edges in places where your hand/fingers will contact, and even the little plastic inserts in the handle don't sit flush with the wood grip, meaning they form a little ridge right on the handle. The rubbers on these paddles are very basic as well, offering decent grip but not the best ball play or action. For beginners these are fine, but anyone past that level looking for more spin or control may want to consider a different set.The "case" is pretty basic, more of a zippered piece of plastic that holds the flimsy plastic shell for the paddles and balls. It will work ok, but I don't expect it to last very long.The best part of this set is probably the 8 balls that comes with it. They have good bounce and no obvious seams.At this $30 price point, this set isn't a bad value. But there are other paddle sets available that are slightly higher quality for about the same price.
