Is working. but with additional details and cautions

For context: I'm not a plumber and have very little experience with pipe fittings. Hose specifications, parts and adapters are mostly a foreign language for me. Even so, the installation process for this bidet is relatively easy as long as you understand the existing setup and accept the fact that you may have to spend extra money on additional parts. Once you have all the parts, installing a bidet takes no more than 20 minutes and if I did it I know you can too! Things I want to know before buying a bidet: 1. The parts that come with this hot/cold water bidet may or may not be compatible with your bathroom.2. The extra adapters I needed to get this bidet working were hard to find and not cheap. Home Depot and Lowes didn't carry them. Neither does my local hardware store. Luckily I found the required 1/2 1/2 3/8 brass tee at the ACE store for about twelve dollars. The tubing needed to install the 3/8 brass tee adapter costs about twenty dollars in stock. I later found out that you can even find them cheaper online at Revain. well.4. I had to drill a small hole in the vanity so I could connect the hot water hose to the bidet. It was very easy to do, but it required a drill and a suitable drill bit. Bits are very cheap online, assuming you already have a drill of course (which I did). 5. Don't expect a bidet kit to have everything you need. You will still need tools, teflon tape and whatever else is needed for your current setup. It's not the seller's fault, it's just the nature of the animal as not all bathrooms are of the same standard.6. Be careful with hot water or you can bake the buns. lessons are here. They must contain a warning. Try slowly dipping into hot water before going all-in. My rolls were tender for about a day. Now to how it works: I have tested the bidet extensively and all functions work perfectly. Good water pressure and feedback from all dials. The aim is very accurate and it seems that the water hits the mark every time. I'm actually a little intrigued by it. The bidet is a bit thicker, you may need to purchase toilet seat bumpers like I did if the toilet seat doesn't touch the actual toilet when fully stowed. This is a very simple solution, but it must be remembered.

  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
