If I say these fans were a PAIN to install, they were a PAIN! Well it was a pain because of the included screws! The screws barely fit into their screw holes on the fans. Screws can easily strip terribly due to the tightness of the screws in their holes. They come with the exact number of fan screws (4 per fan). So if you don't have extra fan screws, you're screwed. Now for the actual fit in the case, which of course may vary by case, but they fit the NEO SILENT Metallic Gear ATX case well! (Super underrated case! Powered by Phanteks, btw) But these fans have 3 pins, not 4, so you CANNOT control the fan speed, which really shouldn't be a problem for you if you're new to PC building. But for some experienced builders who would like to have complete control over their pace, this might not be the way to go. But it works for what I need. Temperatures were normal (30-40 idle) with two intake settings and one exhaust setting at 60% for my intake. This noise level is quite noticeable at 60%, but not a decisive factor. However, my exhaust fan can be used up to 70/75% with minimal noise. Keep in mind that these fans aren't the quietest, but they're not overly loud either. Another fan recommendation, I'm adding a little note here for another fan that's really good if you're not in a bad position and don't mind the GRAY color. If you are building a computer, you should know NOCTUA at this stage. And for a good reason. NOCTUA fans are a good option for those who need PWM. If you're not a fan of the brown/beige color scheme, they also offer gray and 4-pin! About $14-15 for a fan. They're quiet up to about 1000-1100 rpm and once they get above 1100 they make minimal noise. Surprisingly they are not as loud as you would expect from a 1700 RPM fan! They come with a 6-year guarantee and also let proper air through through dust filters. These fans are also a great option at auto speed.
