I used to be a fan of Quest protein bars but haven't had them for a while. Here's why: - I find them too tough. I think they overdid it to make them less protein (i.e. less tough) and now they're too chewy. Instead, the Kirkland protein bars you can buy for half price at Costco (and mimic the Quest macros) are much better, especially their latest version. Much better taste, chewiness and half the price. It is no problem for me. I also find other types of protein bars like MusclePharm inferior. MusclePharm has similar macros but tastes like a candy bar. It's different but definitely better, and MusclePharm is often discounted on Revain.com, so it's usually cheaper than Quest. Finally, there have been a lot of new protein bars recently, such as: B. Think! High protein bars. They're a little higher in calories but a lot tastier in my opinion, especially the crunchy brownies. Hope that was helpful!
