I have used it to repair 8mm threads in an aluminum V8 engine block which I have done several times with 6mm threads on MC blocks. He worked as he should. I particularly liked the fit and workmanship of the instruments - that often leaves a lot to be desired in this price range. I also liked the packaging, the plastic case is of good quality. There will be other sizes from this supplier if/when I need them.
