I was deciding between this and another touchpad that costs a lot more money. I chose this one because it seemed to offer more features with little sacrifice in build quality. I would tell you that although everything is plastic, the build quality seems pretty good. Responsiveness over Bluetooth and wired is excellent, although wired is the best choice for my purposes as it allows me to switch between my work and home laptop. Shoulder and arm, and all types of ergonomic mice I've tried have not shrunk. With this touchpad I can be in almost any position I want, I can put it on my lap when I'm bedridden, I can use it in bed with Bluetooth without any problems, I can put it on one side to get the best angle , and best of all, it's 100% ambidextrous. I hold it in the middle of my split keyboard and now mostly use my left hand with no issues, but I can still use my right hand when I want and it doesn't hurt much. I still haven't figured out all the features, but so far I find them superior to just about any mouse I've ever used. The only possible criticism I have is that sometimes when I want to do a single click on something, it doesn't seem to recognize it until I first move my finger or type very hard. It's easy to work around, and to be honest, I often don't realize it, so it's not a problem for me. Highly recommend, especially for the price.
