I should have given this review a solid 2 stars. The fact that it actually stuck to the wall and functionally covered the gap kept me from going further down. Unfortunately I had high hopes for this product and that may have been part of the problem. It's pretty awkward, but I'm terrible at pocketing and cropping things. It was like the solution to all my problems! A ray of sunshine on a stormy day. I don't know what I was thinking when I ordered this product. That I can just put this thing around the toilet? That I can do it along the edge of the tub where it meets the floor and it will be perfectly symmetrical and stand out like a pro? I could imagine my wife looking at my work with trembling lips and eyes watering with joy. I would be a hero! I immediately ordered this item and went to bed with puppy dreams. When the item arrived I was a bit disappointed that the color wasn't as white as I had hoped. It's not that I would mind a darker finish, as you can imagine, it's just that its brightness would match the porcelain in the bathroom better than an off-white color (see image). However, this was far from a determining factor. I could make this work! So when I tried to unravel the very first strip, I found it quite difficult to unravel. It stuck to itself. Being a handy guy, I pulled out my razor and gave him a little help - which turned out to be more than a little. It turned out that this is almost all. For this thing to work effectively, not only would you have to be able to unravel it without sticking, but you would have to be very careful not to stretch it. When you stretch it, it's like using a gun and applying sealant at different pressures. There is nothing more to say about it (at least not without tears). Maybe due to transportation they stuck together and fused, but whatever the reason I was never able to lift more than one foot and when I took this section off it wasn't the same size end to end. Stretched out in places. I spent more time separating this thing from itself than I thought it was worth. It might be fine for outdoor things like around your shed or under windowsills, but if you value your marriage don't bring it indoors :(
