I've only had this knife for a short time but I've really experienced it now, whether it's slicing a leg of lamb or slicing tomatoes wafer thin for a fun bouche. I've used several different styles of chef's knives in the past, each costing over $150, and I have to say I'm as happy with this knife as I've been with any other. First, straight out of the box, it's ready to use and ready to go with blades that are angled at 15 degrees, making it easy to cut through all ingredients. Second, the design of the knife is well thought out; No oddly shaped awkward handle, perfect connection between handle and blade that makes the grip very comfortable, wide side of the knife that makes it easy to move ingredients between board and pan or bowl and overall a really well balanced knife that You won't get tired after a long time. Finally, unlike my expensive chef's knives, this one is dishwasher safe and looks like new. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great chef's knife at an incredibly affordable price.
