This is not a colored synthetic aquarium soil. This is the real mother earth app. Real earth stone 3/16 (3-4 mm) in size. The contents were slightly damp and you need to quickly flush with water to wash away a small amount of sediment to refresh. Supplied in 8 sealed plastic bags in a priority box. It was very heavy for a priority box and the box was completely destroyed so my USPS friends had to ship it in a USPS plastic mail box. The priority shipping carton needs to be taped twice on the side and twice from front to back. It was almost a disaster.
