Different but not bad

This gravel differs from normal aquarium gravel. It's slightly larger in diameter. I love gravel in general. If you decide to buy it, be sure to rinse it thoroughly before adding it to the aquarium. He was "dusty". I also found some small remains of shells in there, which was interesting.

Pros
  • Few competitors

They are not cleaned at all

I rinsed them under water, soaked them in hot water, washed them with dish soap, rinsed them under water, soaked, rinsed and my aquarium water was dirty because of it. I had to throw it away and make a new one. They have a nice natural look but I would never buy them or recommend them to anyone who wants rocks for their fish tank or fish tank because of all the work involved.

Pros
  • That's amazing
Cons
  • Minor problems

Dangerously dirty! Best in Category Fish & Aquatic Pets

Shipping without pre-cleaning. Just opening the package (with scissors) would cause the dust to rise into the air and give me an allergic reaction, causing a sneezing fit and tears in my eyes. I installed it in my tank after washing it for hours and shortly after inserting it my fish had an eye infection. I may have done something wrong and it was my fault and luckily the infection cleared up after a few days but I can't believe this gravel is safe for fish or at least small individual tanks. I

This is not a colored synthetic aquarium soil. This is the real mother earth app. Real earth stone 3/16 (3-4 mm) in size. The contents were slightly damp and you need to quickly flush with water to wash away a small amount of sediment to refresh. Supplied in 8 sealed plastic bags in a priority box. It was very heavy for a priority box and the box was completely destroyed so my USPS friends had to ship it in a USPS plastic mail box. The priority shipping carton needs to be taped twice on the…

Read the Review, TORTURES the Water

Realize that like any aquarium substrate, this needs to be cleaned of dirt. Before installation, these stones were thoroughly washed with water four times. After flushing I was satisfied that they were ready to be installed in a new 30 gallon. Tank. The filter worked well with the new filter material. At first, judging by the photos, the transparency of the water was excellent for the first 7-10 days. After about two weeks of cycling, the entire tank glass, heater tube, and plants began to get…
