It is "almost" perfect. but grip 1 is too far down to grab fast. 2- constantly grabs the dog's leg. I walk dogs for work. And I like the length as I can wrap it around one wrist and hang it on the leash with the other hand to avoid losing the dog. With well-behaved dogs I can allow the full length (this is where a well-behaved dog puts itself in the handle). I made a leash with a loop they handle which was nice. But if the handle was a foot behind the leash, it would be the perfect leash. The feeling is incredible. The handle fits well in the hand. I like the feel of the flexibility, some have canvas handles instead of hard plastic inserts.
