Very strong, comfortable to hold, perfect length, great looks

This is a very strong leash, not easy to chew. The two handles are great for keeping the dog close or giving more freedom of movement. The long length gives the dog a little more freedom, but unlike retractable leashes, this leash is safer and quick to put on. The colour, look and feel are high quality and I have received several compliments on the leash. I will never buy a normal leash again.

I don't know how I lived my whole life without such a leash. I have arthritis in my hands and a rescue pit bull with a leash reaction to other dogs. She acts like Eeyore when there are no dogs around, so the 8ft length is great for roaming around and like a werewolf on a full moon when she sees a dog. Good leash! But the paws of large dogs constantly get stuck in the lower handle.

It is "almost" perfect. but grip 1 is too far down to grab fast. 2- constantly grabs the dog's leg. I walk dogs for work. And I like the length as I can wrap it around one wrist and hang it on the leash with the other hand to avoid losing the dog. With well-behaved dogs I can allow the full length (this is where a well-behaved dog puts itself in the handle). I made a leash with a loop they handle which was nice. Well made but not perfect for my dogs.

I love this long leash with reflector! It is very well made, heavy, the leash lies well in the hand. If I had a Great Dane or a giant big leggy dog this would be perfect! The problem is that my 50 pound black mouth mix breed has a clip attached so heavily to his collar that it hangs under his neck and he ends up with it between his front paws. really great leash! And the price is unbeatable! Pet stores are full of leashes, not nearly as good as these but five times the price. I have a bullboxer mix puppy that eats leashes for lunch. We bought a harness and leash together for each of our medium sized dogs. It takes a bit of forethought and effort to work with your dog when using a two-handle leash.

When I first started using these leashes on my dogs, I worked with them in the garden, changing them from long to short and teaching ME how to use the leash as efficiently as possible without dropping the longer part on the ground allow. Dogs learned my moves in the process and by responding to how they feel my holding the leash they know when I'm going to pick up the slack and grab the second handle, they know but that doesn't mean they care or are always willing to work with me!
