Works great when securely attached
First I attached it to the vanity top. But the overhang is enough to make it firm and stable. So I managed to fix it on top of the dressing table. Ideally, the clamp should be about 1/3 shorter and 50% wider to better fit against the center top of the vanity. With the exception of the clip limit, this works very well. Very stable gooseneck, holds hair dryer securely.
