Review on 🎨 Strathmore 400 Series Watercolor Block, Cold Press, 18"x24", 15 Sheets, Bound on all 4 Sides by Denise Davis

This paper is fine. Although the packaging was pretty good, it was still crumpled in one corner. I mostly paint with acrylic paint on canvas. But it turns out to be a bit pricey, both in terms of money and storage space. I bought this paper for acrylic paints thinking it would be thick enough not to warp, but it warped anyway. Maybe it's a pipe dream to think that I can use paper and not deform. After one use, the taped edges peeled from the thick cardboard backing, leading me to believe it will warp even more next time I paint. It took me a few minutes to find a small area on the top center edge that wasn't taped over so I could remove the piece of paper I drew. But once I discovered it, it was easy to cut off the first piece of paper. I will continue to use this paper as it is quite thick. Maybe I'll try a few different painting techniques to see if I get less warping.
