I've had several pairs of ASICS over the years and always wear a 11. They are too tight and I think 11.5 would be better. They're just too cozy. I figured they might just need a good warm up as trail running shoes are stiffer, but I've put a few miles on trails and a few runs and they still haven't loosened up too much in terms of fit. I think I will return to them. New Balance trail running shoes as they seem to fit a little better. Great shoes but if you can't try them on first I would order 0.5 size up. UPDATE 08/31/19. and a few 4-5 mile walks in them. They came loose after about 2 weeks of constant wear. They fit quite well but are not as comfortable as my new balancing shoes. It could also be my feet (flat feet and overpronation) but I do feel pain in the middle of the foot due to the arch on the inside of the shoe. They will accompany me in army training as a pair of outdoor running shoes on some of the basic trails.
