It works to charge the batteries but does not have an automatic shut off so the batteries are often recharged or some batteries explode during use. in case of damage to the electronics, so that the charger in the cell in which the battery exploded no longer works properly. Some batteries charge in six hours, some in four and some in two, you never know, overcharging will make some batteries explode. Now when I say 'Blast' I don't mean 'Nuclear', I mean 'Pop', 'Fizz' and 'Goo'. Damage is caused by leaking chemicals from the battery. I ended up having to check the battery voltage with a voltmeter or ohmmeter to see how high or low the voltage was, and then I was able to roughly determine how long to leave the battery on the charger. Since the device destroyed several batteries and they destroyed the device, I therefore no longer use it. I just use rechargeable batteries instead as they sometimes come with their own charger and last anywhere from a few months to a few years depending on how many charges they can handle.
