My maxtid door limiter works great. It keeps out drafts, keeps dust out, and keeps spiders, mosquitoes, and other seasonal insects out of my bedroom. my door opens inwards. As this is a bedroom the weather does not affect the door being outside. . Anyway, I had to custom carve it due to the imperfections of the door jamb. After measuring and trimming the fittings it turned out to be about 30 inches. I took a 12 foot foam board and stuck it in and kept cutting it out where it overhangs. About 6 inches. . then I plugged it in so the original 12 inches popped out. I put it back in so it was 12/6/12 and the ends were sturdier and didn't bend on me. The weight and gravity make the middle point ideal for shorter pieces of foam. Cleaned my door, let it dry. Glued on and it sticks great. Magic mesh held in place with Velcro. Pushpins or thumbtacks MAY help it stay attached to your door, but heat it so it STAMPS to your door as the manufacturer instructs you. ok, good product. I only need one but I would buy more if I was traveling and needed them. Helps save heat, money, cleaning time and gives me peace of mind.
