So far I have used these picture hangers on 7 paintings and one large (14 lb wooden frame) which bent the hook and broke the frame when it fell off and onto the wooden floor struck. Luckily I was able to fix the frame. I made sure to use the correct hanger. I ended up using another 20lb kit and it worked fine. This kit worked great on a lighter frame but the brass bends on heavier frames. It was difficult to judge this correctly as the kit was easy to use and install but the brass was too soft and bent.
