I used them a little differently. My 90-year-old sister is mostly bedridden but likes to eat in her wheelchair from time to time. I read reviews of wheelchair stands and couldn't find one that got rave reviews so I decided to make one. I had spare plywood etc in the garage so I just needed something to attach the tray I had made to the chair arms. These brackets did their job. I used two on one side and one on the other side. They work great. No more shedding and she's happy.
