Faux fur is soft, not too shiny or itchy. The length is perfect and it stays in place without constricting the neck. I'm 5ft 9" and the longer piece is just below the bust line. The dark green is really dark, almost black. The green color is more visible outdoors or in bright light. The inside of the scarf is well lined and made from a beautiful teal material that closely resembles a real fur scarf. Great color and relevant this season.
