Review on Weather-Resistant Folding Adirondack Chair - Perfect For Patio, Deck, Garden & Lawn Seating - Green by Cynthia Bennett

May Want To Consider a Higher Investment

I am a handy person. These chairs by no means assemble in 15 minutes. First chair took about 45-60 minutes, second chair about 30. There are 12 holes that are needed that are not predrilled. Yes, the screws provided are considered self-tapping but making pilot holes is highly suggested. I also used a "corner" bracket to help secure the pieces while drilling/screwing. These chairs are NOT like polywood or other hardier outdoor furniture that you might pay a higher price for. They are Polystyrene which is less hardy. See other reviews/ pictures on damaged/broken pieces. Mine arrived intact. I purchased the 'folding' chairs since they were less expensive and I wanted to see the quality. It is not likely I'll ever fold them. The pins are very tight and would require boring out the hole to make them usable. And I don't want to risk breakage while folding as other purchasers have. So I clamped all the bolts tighter to have a more rigid feel. All that being said the chairs look nice and are comfortable enough. Moving forward, I will choose a more expensive, heavier, more durable product when I add to the collection.
