Californian R6s use CR9EK but they were recommended by the forums so I went with them. Replacing the R6 spark plug is no joke and can be time consuming due to that stupid plastic heat shield. . you know one Anyway, I had their gaps, but they still shouldn't have gaps. I applied a light coat of grease with anti-seize paste and screwed it in by hand and then 1/2 turn with a wrench. I didn't notice any difference in horsepower or throttle response since the bike has had CR10EKs before, although it's more worn. by CR10EK. But I did notice a jump from 33mpg to 36mpg with a new air filter (K&N YA-6001), throttle control and some sea foam in the tank. The only thing left is a valve adjustment, but for $650 from all the stores that have to wait. Good candles. Cheaper at Revain than anywhere else, $5 for all 4.
